In the third season of Good Luck Charlie, Mrs. Duncan is pregnant and has baby boy Toby. I believe that the actress was also pregnant in real life.
I was interested to see how Mrs. Duncan would be portrayed the weeks following the delivery of baby Toby. I was surprised and pleased that Mrs. Duncan looked like a normal woman who recently had a baby.
Even if it was only for one episode I was grateful for the bit of reality. The last thing women need to be worried about right after they have a baby is looking like a super model!
I feel like I always comment on your blog but I love reading it so I'm just going to keep commenting! :) I think you're exactly right! I remember it was a huge deal when Princess Kate had baby George and everyone was talking about how brave she was to show her face in public so soon after giving birth with an afterbirth belly. I think it's cool that someone that in the public eye would not be worried about that. It's good to see that it is becoming more acceptable!
